Chart Houses which represent Money in Astrology -
Birth chart houses are linked to wealth. These include the 2nd, 5th, 8th, 9th, and 11th houses.
1) 2nd House – The House of Wealth:
2nd house represents personal income and financial matters. It reveals how a person earns money and their primary sources of income. This house is key in understanding one’s self-earned financial prosperity.
2) 5th House – The House of Children and Creativity:
The 5th house is associated with speculative gains, including stocks, trading, and unexpected windfalls like lotteries.
3) 8th House – The House of Inheritance and Karma:
The 8th house governs money received from others, such as inheritances or a spouse’s wealth. It also indicates financial benefits through partnerships or in-laws.
4) 9th House – The House of Fortune (Dharma Bhava):
A strong 9th house shows good fortune and ease in acquiring wealth. It reflects the strength of one’s financial luck.
5) 11th House – The House of Financial Gains:
The 11th house signifies large financial gains, profits, and the success of ventures. It also indicates the rise and fall of wealth in one’s life.
Planets Influencing Money –
1) Jupiter and Venus are the primary planets linked to wealth, often called the Dhan-karakas (indicators of wealth and prosperity).
2) Moon also plays a vital role in determining wealth, while Venus brings luxury and comfort.
3) Mercury signifies financial success, particularly in business.
Planetary Combinations for Wealth -
1) Planetary Combinations of 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 11th Houses -
When the ruling planets of these houses combine, they bring significant wealth. If Jupiter aspects these houses or their ruling planets, the wealth can multiply several times.
2) Rahu (NN) and Ketu (SN) –
Though often seen as malefic, Rahu (NN) and Ketu (SN) can influence wealth, especially when placed in money-related houses (2nd, 5th, 9th, or 11th). Their aspect on other planets can inflate or reduce monetary gains.
Rahu (NN) –
If Rahu (NN) is placed in one of the money houses (2nd, 5th, 9th, or 11th), it has a strong impact on wealth and various kinds of financial gains. Rahu (NN) is known for amplifying material desires and worldly success.
Ketu (SN) –
Ketu (SN) influence, on the other hand, can bring sudden, unexpected gains, but it may also reduce attachment to material wealth. If Ketu (SN) aspects or influences wealth-related houses or planets, it may create a balance between material wealth and spiritual detachment.
3) Aspect between Rahu (NN) and Jupiter –
When Rahu (NN) aspects Jupiter, the wealth can double or increase significantly.
Exalted Jupiter:
If Jupiter is placed in its own sign or in an exalted state, this will further enhance monetary gains.
Jupiter’s Placement:
If Jupiter is exalted or in its own sign, it enhances monetary gains. Jupiter in conjunction with the ruler of the 2nd house and Mercury can bring significant wealth.
4) Sun and Moon Aspects –
When Sun aspects Moon in a chart, it creates a favourable combination for financial success.
5) Jupiter in Ascendant –
Jupiter in the ascendant (1st house), aspected by the rulers of the 2nd, 5th, and 9th houses, indicates success in speculative investments like stocks or gambling.
Dhan Yoga (Wealth Yoga)
Specific combinations of planets create Dhan Yoga, which signifies wealth and prosperity.
Dhan Yoga forms when –
1) The lord of the ascendant (Lagna) and the lord of the 2nd house associate with the lords of the 5th, 9th, or 11th houses.
2) The lord of the 2nd house associates with the lords of the 5th, 9th, or 11th houses.
3) The lord of the 5th house combines with the lord of the 9th or 11th houses.
4) The lord of the 9th house connects with the lord of the 11th house.
2nd and 11th houses are key indicators of wealth, while the 5th and 9th houses are referred to as the “House of Devi Lakshmi,” the goddess of wealth in Hindu mythology.
The interplay of these houses ensures wealth and prosperity. The 2nd house relates to accumulated wealth, and the 11th house represents gains and profits.
Activating the wealth house in astrology involves enhancing the influences of the 2nd house (house of wealth and savings), the 11th house (house of gains and profits), and sometimes the 9th house (house of luck and fortune) in your birth chart. These houses are key in determining one’s financial stability and prosperity.
Some powerful methods to activate the wealth houses –
1) Strengthening the Planet Ruling the Wealth Houses -
Identify the lords of your 2nd, 9th, and 11th houses and determine whether they are weak or strong in your chart.
If they are debilitated, combust, or afflicted by malefic planets, their strength can be enhanced through planetary remedies like wearing gemstones, performing specific rituals, or chanting mantras.
2) Wearing Gemstones -
Based on the planetary ruler of your wealth houses, wearing the right gemstone can enhance the planet’s energy. For example:
Emerald for Mercury (if Mercury rules your 2nd or 11th house).
Yellow Sapphire for Jupiter (for luck and prosperity when Jupiter is the 9th house lord).
Diamond or White Sapphire for Venus, as it promotes luxury and financial comfort.
3) Chanting Mantras -
Mantras for wealth associated with ruling planets can help to strengthen these houses:
Jupiter Mantra (for wealth and luck): “Om Brihaspataye Namah”
Venus Mantra (for wealth and luxury): “Om Shukraya Namah”
Lakshmi Mantra (for abundance and financial growth): “Om Shreem Mahalakshmiyei Namah”
Chant these regularly during auspicious times.
4) Donation and Charity -
To reduce malefic effects and enhance positive influences, donating to causes associated with afflicted planets can help:
Donate Dairy product, Silver, Water (for Moon).
Distribute books or do educational charity (for Mercury).
Offer yellow-coloured items on Thursdays (for Jupiter).
Charity brings good karma and activates the flow of wealth through generosity.
5) Fasting and Rituals -
Fasting on particular days aligned with the ruling planets can also enhance their energy:
a) Thursday fast for Jupiter.
b) Friday fast for Venus.
c) Wednesday fast for Mercury.
6) Performing Remedies for Blockages -
If planets like Saturn or Rahu NN) are negatively impacting wealth houses, perform specific remedies to pacify these planets, such as:
a) Shani Mantra for Saturn: “Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah”
b) Donate black items or feed crows on Saturdays for Saturn.
7) Vastu Remedies -
Align your living space to attract wealth:
a) Keep the north direction free of clutter, as it is ruled by Mercury and associated with wealth.
b) Place a money plant in the southeast corner to activate financial prosperity.
c) A statue of Kuber (the god of wealth) in the north corner can enhance wealth energy.
Specific rituals and practices are also used to activate the energies of wealth and abundance. These practices often combine mantras, yantras (sacred diagrams), offerings, and other powerful tools to attract financial prosperity.
Solutions to activate wealth:
1) Shree Yantra Activation -
Shree Yantra is considered one of the most powerful tools for attracting wealth and abundance. It is a geometric representation of Goddess Lakshmi and helps to remove financial obstacles.
Steps for Activation –
Place a Shree Yantra on a red cloth in your home’s north or northeast direction.
Perform a Lakshmi Puja by offering flowers, rice, and sweets to the Yantra.
Light a ghee lamp and incense in front of it daily.
Chant the Shree Lakshmi Mantra –
“Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Om Mahalakshmaye Namah” 108 times daily, preferably using a sphatik mala (crystal rosary).
2) Chanting of Powerful Wealth Mantras -
Certain mantras, when chanted with full focus and devotion, can help remove financial blockages and attract wealth. These mantras should be chanted during auspicious planetary times or during specific Tantrik rituals. Here are two powerful wealth mantras:
A) Kuber Mantra (for the Lord of Wealth, Kubera) –
“Om Hreem Shreem Hreem Kuberaya Namaha”
Chant this mantra 108 times daily, preferably during Brahma Muhurat (early morning before sunrise), while facing the north.
Mahalakshmi Tantrik Mantra (to invoke Goddess Lakshmi’s blessings):
“Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Mahalakshmaye Namah”
Chant this mantra for at least 21 days, 108 times each day, while sitting on a red asana and facing east.
3) Offerings to Deities -
Certain deities are powerful for wealth activation. Some of the most revered are:
A) Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of Wealth)
4) Kuber (God of Wealth)
Offerings to these deities should include:
a) Fresh flowers, especially lotus flowers for Goddess Lakshmi.
b) sweet items like honey, sugar, and jaggery.
c) Gold or Silver coins placed at the altar as a symbolic offering.
You can also light a special lamp with cloves and camphor in it to intensify the energy.
4) Chanting and Rituals on Purnima (Full Moon)
The full moon is a powerful time to perform wealth-attracting rituals.
a) On Purnima night, after taking a bath, sit facing east or north, and chant the Kuber Mantra or the Mahalakshmi Mantra while offering rice, flowers, and ghee lamps to the deities.
b) Place a silver coin on a plate and pour raw milk over it while chanting the mantra. After the ritual, keep the coin in your wallet to attract continuous wealth.
5) Mantra for Wealth
“Om Hreem Shreem Kleem Mahalakshmi Swaha”
This mantra should be chanted 108 times daily in front of a Lakshmi Yantra or a picture of Mahalakshmi.
Light a lamp with sesame oil to enhance the energy.
6) Homa (Fire Ritual) for Wealth -
Performing a Homa or fire ritual is one of the most powerful techniques for wealth. The fire serves as a medium to invoke and transmit divine energy.
A) Ingredients for the Homa.
Sandalwood powder, ghee, camphor, and lotus seeds.
Chant the Lakshmi Moola Mantra or the Kuber Mantra while offering these ingredients into the fire.
The homa should be performed by an experienced priest or under supervision.
To analyze a specific Dhan Yog in your Kundli, a thorough study of the positions of planets, their conjunctions, aspects, and the strength of the houses related to wealth is required. You may want to consult an hellomyastro astrologer's who can study your chart in detail.
